Roots/Shorashim/Judur Clergy Conversation
October 26, 2017

Roots/Shorashim/Judur is a local Palestinian Israeli initiative for understanding, nonviolence and transformation. Its leaders include Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger, an Orthodox rabbi who has lived in the West Bank as a settler for over 30 years, and Antwan Saca, a Palestinian Christian who also serves a program director for the Holy Land Trust. You can read more about the organization at www.friendsofroots.net.

This month, Roots is coming to Pittsburgh. We want to invite you to take part in a special conversation for Christian and Jewish clergy with Antwan and Hanan on Thursday, October 26 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Temple Sinai, 5505 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh 15217. No matter what your perspective on Israel and Palestine, we think you’ll leave with an enriched and complicated understanding, with new connections to your local colleagues, and even with renewed hope.

Please let us know if you are able to attend by filling in the form below by Monday, October 23.
