Christian Associates of Southwest Pennsylvania
working for the unity of the church and the wholeness of communities through collegiality, collaboration, and connectedness

One thousand seven hundred years ago, Christians from across the known world gathered for the first ecumenical council. Together, they discerned the theological foundations that would guide the church for centuries to come. We all owe much to the leaders of the First Council of Nicaea. In this anniversary year, let’s gather to celebrate the unity that they made possible.
Join us on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in the Cardinals Great Hall, O’Connor Hall, Diocese of Pittsburgh Pastoral Center (2900 Noblestown Road, Pittsburgh 15205). All are welcome to attend an ecumenical celebration of the Nicene anniversary and the publication of our anniversary devotional booklet, We Believe, coming soon.
The evening will include a prayer service, essay readings, and group discussions, as well as a celebratory reception. A free copy of the book will be shared with all attendees.
Bring a group from your parish or your neighborhood! All are welcome. RSVPs for the celebration are helpful but not required using the form below.
